What's the difference?

MetalPrint

Increasingly our most popular option. With a gently reflective surface, MetalPrints offer enhanced color contrast, highlighting vibrant hues, deep blacks, and intricate details. Float mount hanger is pre-installed — hang it straight out of the box.

Canvas Wrap

Bring depth to any room with our canvas option. Made with a fine art paper bonded onto museum-quality canvas. The print is then wrapped around an artist’s stretcher frame at a 1–1.5" depth, complete with finished mounting hardware.

Premium Print

Our recommended surface for deep-sky imagery. Kodak ENDURA Premier Luster pairs a fine pearl texture with the dynamic range nebulae need — deep blacks, punchy color, sharp stars. Professional photographic paper at our most accessible price point.

Fine Art

Moab Entrada Bright Rag is a 100% cotton, acid-free paper used by museums and fine art galleries. The soft matte surface eliminates glare entirely — ideal for sunlit rooms — and lends lunar, solar, and Apollo imagery a painterly, heirloom quality built to last generations.

If not perfect, then this spiral galaxy is at least one of the most photogenic. An island universe of about 100 billion stars, 32 million light-years away toward the constellation Pisces, M74 presents a gorgeous face-on view. Classified as an Sc galaxy, the grand design of M74's graceful spiral arms are traced by bright blue star clusters and dark cosmic dust lanes. Constructed from image data recorded in 2003 and 2005, this sharp composite is from the Hubble Space Telescope's Advanced Camera for Surveys. Spanning about 30,000 light-years across the face of M74, it includes exposures recording emission from hydrogen atoms, highlighting the reddish glow of the galaxy's large star-forming regions.

Publisher's Note:
This image is one of our top sellers. All options will be turn out nicely here, however, we think the Premium Print and Fine Art options will look best.

Note:
Sizes are in inches and these are our defaults. If you require custom border sizes or no border, then please contact us or specify in the comments section at Checkout.

Unframed Premium and Fine Art Prints

Prints over 11"x14" come with borders by default.

Paper Size	Image Size	Border
04"x06"	04"x06"	0"
05"x07"	05"x07"	0"
08"x10"	08"x10"	0"
11"x14"	10"x13"	0.5"
12"x18"	11"x17"	0.5"
16"x20"	15"x19"	0.5"
24"x30"	22"x28"	1"
24"x36"	22"34"	1"
30"x40"	28"x38"	1"

All images are cropped to fit the selected size within +/- .5". Therefore, some part of the image may not appear in the final print, when comparing to the online thumbnail. This missing part may appear on the sides or the top and bottom. This is a standard printing practice so that the finished product will fit standard frame sizes. This cropping is the default action.

If you would like uncropped images, tell us by putting a note in the comment section at Checkout. Keep in mind that the uncropped image size will always be smaller than the ordered size.

The actual sizes of objects in the image may not vary within 1/2" due to printer resizing during the final print imaging on the printers.
