    Pluto

The distant dwarf planet revealed by NASA's New Horizons flyby in 2015.

    What's in This Collection

The dwarf planet at the edge of our solar system, seen up close for the first time. In July 2015, NASA's New Horizons spacecraft flew past Pluto after a nine-year journey, capturing the first detailed photographs of this distant world.

    Why These Images Stand Out

The now-famous heart-shaped nitrogen ice plain (Tombaugh Regio) and the surprising geological complexity of a world once thought to be a featureless ice ball. These are the only close-up images of Pluto that exist — no return mission is currently planned.

    Available Print Formats

Pluto prints make unique conversation pieces. Available on metal, canvas, and fine art paper.
